San Diego Loyal SC signed defender Jackson Simba Kasanzu on August 12, 2022. The Tanzanian international joined SD Loyal after playing with AFC Ann Arbor of USL League Two for the 2022 season. The defender played in eight matches for AFC Ann Arbor, starting in seven, helping his team to a 4W-2L-2D record during that span.
