Ebenezer “Eby” Ackon comes to San Diego after most recently playing with San Antonio FC. He was a standout during his college career at Bowling Green State University and was originally drafted by MLS side Chicago Fire during the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. Unfortunately, Ackon could not be registered because the club had exceeded their quota for international players. Prior to coming to the United States, he had a short stint at Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.
