Guerrero is back for another season with his hometown team. The Chula Vista native is coming off his best season yet with SD Loyal. Playing and starting in 16 matches in 2021, Guerrero finished with five shutouts in 1,440 minutes played. Guerrero stepped in nicely when Trey Muse went down with a hand injury midseason. He is in his third season with SD Loyal. In the 2020 season, Guerrero made two appearances with 11 saves during SD Loyal’s inaugural season, logging 180 minutes. He had two starts in front of the goal, including a critical match down the stretch against LA Galaxy II while SD Loyal was in the middle of a playoff push. Guerrero began his soccer career playing in the local youth leagues throughout San Diego County.
