Andrew Carleton joins San Diego Loyal SC after most recently playing for Costa Rican first-division side Jicaral Sercoba. Prior to Jicaral Sercoba, Carleton was Atlanta United FC’s first homegrown signing and made his MLS debut on May 20, 2017 at the age of 16. Before reaching the professional ranks, Carleton led the club to its first ever championship of any kind, scoring a brace in a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the 2017 U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-15/16 Academy Championship Final. Internationally, Carleton has represented the United States at the U-15, U-17, U-18 and U-20 levels, including the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.
