
Schedule highlighted by nationally televised broadcast on ESPN2, local broadcasts on Fox 5 and The CW, and every match available on ESPN+
SAN DIEGO (March 10, 2023) – San Diego Loyal SC announced today its television broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2023 USL Championship season. Head Coach Nate Miller’s club enters its fourth season competing in the league and fans will get a chance to follow the club all season long with television broadcasts on ESPN2, ESPN+, Fox 5 San Diego and The CW San Diego.
SD Loyal will have one national broadcast on ESPN2 when the club takes on New Mexico United on Aug. 19 (6:30 p.m.) at home. The 2023 broadcast schedule begins with the season opener from Torero Stadium on Saturday, March 11 (7 p.m.) on ESPN+.
SD Loyal will have 11 matches on The CW San Diego, including the second match of the season against Phoenix Rising FC on March 19 (3 p.m.). Other home matches on The CW San Diego include Tampa Bay Rowdies, Birmingham Legion FC and Las Vegas Lights FC. Road matches on the local network will be against Miami FC, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Indy Eleven, Hartford Athletic and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
SD Loyal’s seven matches on Fox 5 San Diego include the first road match of the season at Sacramento Republic FC on March 25 (7 p.m.). Other road matches on Fox 5 include Western Conference rivals Orange County SC and Oakland Roots SC. The remaining four matches are home affairs against FC Tulsa, El Paso Locomotive FC, Rio Grande Valley FC and Sacramento.
The final home match of the season against Oakland (Oct. 7) is slated to be on ESPN+ as well as the regular season finale on the road at Las Vegas (Oct. 14).
