
Presented by SD Loyal, competition brings world’s top soccer freestylers to Hangar Futsal Center
SAN DIEGO (Jan. 17, 2023) – Southern California soccer fans are invited to witness international freestyle stars battle it out in Foreign Jam III, presented by San Diego Loyal SC. With doors opening at 6 p.m., fans are encouraged to arrive early at El Cajon’s Hangar Futsal Center on Saturday, Jan. 28.
RSVP HERE — those that RSVP will be sent additional updates about the event as they become available, but RSVPs do not guarantee seating at the event. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Foreign Jam is a unique soccer event that we are excited to help bring to the San Diego community,” said Ricardo Campos, SD Loyal Club President. “To see the world’s best freestylers gather in our own backyard is something truly special.”
The world’s top male and female freestylers will go head-to-head in a single elimination, 3-minute, street-style battle format to crown the top soccer freestylers. On the men’s side, the competition will begin with Round of 16 matchups until a final winner is determined. On the women’s side, the lineup is highlighted by Caitlyn Schrepfer and Laura Biondo, the top two competitors on the global stage.
A star-studded cast will keep audience members on their toes, with a judging panel led by two-time American Champion Alex Mendoza and two-time Asian Champion Philip Warren Gertsson “PWG”. The competition will be emceed by Nicco Rogers and Frankie Flo, and is confirmed to feature surprise player appearances from SD Loyal. Spinning over the loudspeakers will be notable Ukrainian artist DJ Climate.
SD Loyal matchday staple Flavors of East Africa will be on hand serving authentic African cuisine and merchandise from SD Loyal, Foreign and Football Boutique will also be sold inside the venue.
