SAN DIEGO (Nov. 11, 2022) – Southern California soccer fans are invited to join in watching two matches from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, San Diego Symphony’s public bayfront park and event venue, in association with San Diego Loyal SC.
Support the US Men’s National Team as they take on Group Stage rival England, and the Mexican Men’s National Team as they take on Group Stage rival Argentina in the second game of Group Stage matches over Thanksgiving weekend.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the San Diego Symphony to provide the most exciting official watch party in San Diego: Pride and Glory – The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™,” said SD Loyal President Ricardo Campos. “From our robust youth soccer participation to the success of our men’s and women’s professional soccer clubs, San Diego is truly the soccer capital of the United States. There’s no better place to celebrate the world’s game than at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park over Thanksgiving weekend.”
These exciting events are free and open to the public; attendees are invited to bring a picnic or enjoy offerings from The Rady Shell’s food and beverage vendors, including Biga Pizza, Lola55, Kitchens for Good, the Urban Kitchen Group and many more. Outside alcohol is not permitted in Jacobs Park. However, alcoholic beverages can be purchased from Shell Provisions vendors onsite.
RSVPs are requested; those that RSVP will be sent additional updates about the event as become available occur, but RSVPs do not guarantee seating at the event. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
