Always Loyal Bundle highlighted by brand-new Rocket League X SD Loyal Special Edition kit debuting on-field Sunday Oct. 9 vs. New Mexico United
SAN DIEGO (Oct. 5, 2022) – The partnership between San Diego based video game developer Psyonix and San Diego Loyal SC expanded today with the release of all-new SD Loyal in-game content in the vehicular soccer video game Rocket League.
SD Loyal and Psyonix’s partnership for the 2022 season was first announced in February with the reveal of SD Loyal’s Charly Futbol jerseys featuring Rocket League as the front-of-kit sponsor.
The new content now live in the Item Shop includes Octane Decals based on SD Loyal’s 2022 kits, including a brand-new Rocket League x San Diego Loyal Special Edition kit designed by CHARLY Futbol. SD Loyal players will wear the new Special Edition kit on-field for the last regular season home game this upcoming weekend on Sunday, October 9 at 3 p.m. PT.
The SD Loyal Always Loyal Bundle includes a San Diego Loyal (Home) Decal, San Diego Loyal (Away) Decal, San Diego Loyal (Special Edition) Decal, San Diego Loyal (Siempre Leal) Decal, CHARLY Futbol Wheels, San Diego Loyal Player Banner and Vocal Local Player Title. The Bundle is available for 500 Credits from now through October 11.
The Rocket League X San Diego Loyal Special Edition kit designed by CHARLY Futbol will make its on-field debut for one day only on Fan Appreciation Day: Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. PT when SD Loyal hosts New Mexico United in front of a sold-out Torero Stadium (YurView, ESPN+, Azteca America 33). Fans in attendance will have the first opportunity to purchase the limited-edition kit when gates open at 1:30 p.m. PT before the jersey is made available to the general public online at theshop.sdloyal.com at 3 p.m. PT.
San Diego Loyal SC clinched second place in the USL Championship Western Conference with a 2-2 draw at Orange County SC Saturday, securing its first-ever first-round playoff match taking place on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. PT.
