San Diego, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2022) -The USL Championship today announced its 2022 USL on ESPN national telecast schedule and San Diego Loyal SC will be showcased in a pair of nationally televised matches.
Coach Landon Donovan’s squad will face El Paso Locomotive FC on Sunday, April 3 (2 p.m.) in a home match at Torero Stadium to be broadcasted on ESPN Deportes. SD Loyal will also be on national television on Monday, July 4 (6 p.m.) when it visits Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC with a broadcast on ESPN2.
The USL is also bringing marquee Championship matches and the league final to millions of homes through the new campaign. USL Fans can watch the entire regular season and the playoffs combined with nearly 700 Championship and League One matches on ESPN platforms.
SD Loyal kicks off its preseason schedule on February 5. Tickets to preseason matches at Torero Stadium against MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, February 12 (7 p.m.) and against Club Tijuana Xolos on Saturday, February 19 (7 p.m.) are on sale now.
