San Diego, CA (Jan. 18, 2022) –Today, SD Loyal announced a multi-year agreement with León-based soccer brand CHARLY as its new official apparel partner ahead of the club’s third season. The historic partnership, anchored by SD Loyal’s 2022 home, away and alternate kits, establishes SD Loyal as the first United States professional soccer club to be outfitted by CHARLY, the official sponsor of Liga MX.

CHARLY is one of the fastest-growing soccer brands in the world and currently outfits some of LIGA MX’s most popular teams including Club Tijuana Xolos, Club León, Pachuca, Atlas, Querétaro, and Santos Laguna. In addition, CHARLY represented the Liga MX All-Stars in the 2021 MLS ALL Star Game. Via this partnership, SD Loyal will be positioned alongside clubs from LIGA MX, the most watched league in the U.S.

SD Loyal fans can expect highly-detailed, customized kits inspired by the diversity of their city and culture. Full details, including the reveal and on-sale date for the club’s 2022 home and away kits will be announced in the coming weeks. An alternate kit will be released later this summer.
SD Loyal kicks off the 2022 USL Championship season Saturday, March 12 at home against LA Galaxy II (7 p.m.) at Torero Stadium.
